I think it's pretty cool. The Camaro is going to be the car all little kids that watched transformers remembers.

Yes, probably my biggest gripe with the current Camaro is that it will forever be tainted by a series of bad movies with great special effects.

I don't see how it's tainted.

People still talk about the Bullitt Mustang, which besides the car chase, was a very lack-luster movie IMO.

Agreed...
And nothing against the car or anything by any means... I just wish the poor car won an audience in a slightly better way. Alas, that is not the case and I know I am dreaming.
